Fits standard-size litter box while offering cats ample room and privacy and containing mess and odors. Two paneled doors, with magnetized closures, make box removal and maintenance easy. | 23 of 23 people found the following review helpful  Working design, low quality materials,  Amazon Verified Purchase This litter box cabinet looks good and allows you to put stuff on top of it, which saves some space in the utility closet I keep it in. A small design flaw: The drawer is not convenient as it requires you to open the doors before you can pull it out. I ended up keeping things like grooming supplies in a basket on top of the cabinet - more room and I don't want them to soak up any smells either.Now, for the major flaw: The material is low quality fiberboard. The first time my cat had a little accident and made a puddle in the corner of the cabinet, it soaked into the side panel which swelled up and turned into mush where it meets the floor. It's hideous and falling apart. I'm going to self-build a replacement with veneer-core plywood and line it with plastic. If you get one of these cabinets, I suggest lining the interior with something waterproof and washable to make it last longer. 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful  Great for cat that hates covered boxes, but one problem with order, Amazon Verified Purchase Update: Still love this box, it is holding up nicely. Also a tip -if your cat pushes open the doors and kicks litter all over the place, you can solve this by taking a hairband and keeping it around the door knobs, this forces kitties to enter and exit through the DOOR and not make a mess.Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I have two cats, and one of them has always refused to use covered boxes. I picked this cabinet because it is bigger than most, and has a nice large opening on the side unlike many others. I also bought Precious Cat litter since it is supposed to be about as dust free as you can get and I wanted to make the box more inviting, at least initially. Worked like a charm, both cats took to box nicely. You will still want to put our a floor mat (I bought a pretty sort of "welcome mat" to put in front of the door) but this looks WAY better than looking at a litter box. It's almost too pretty to keep hidden in the closet. Instructions for assembly are very clear. It's very sturdy and really beautiful. The drawer is very handy for keeping your "utensils."
